The Ninth Annual State of Africatown: The African American & African Diaspora Gathering was held on Saturday, January 22nd, 2021, 11am-2pm.  The theme Focused on Healing & Rebuilding, this year’s power-packed line up of community stakeholders, organizers, entrepreneurs and politicians included K. Wyking Garrett, and Mayor Bruce Harrell – They address the current challenges, opportunities, strategic goals and visions for 2022 and beyond.
