Leadership Opportunities

Our Committees
The Membership committee is responsible for recruiting and retaining members. We also coordinate registration at meetings, track memberships and distribute information. Our needs are obtaining members that are willing to assist at some of the events. FUTURE PROFESSIONAL
High school students that are actively engaged in the Leaders of Tomorrow (LOT®) program.
- Leadership Curriculum
The LOT® curriculum provides students with resources and support in five developmental areas: Leadership, Financial Literacy, College Preparation, Career Preparation and Life Skills. - Leaders of Tomorrow® Leadership Summit
A 4-day culminating event for the Leaders of Tomorrow® program year. This event typically takes place on a college campus and includes guest speakers, a business case competition, breakout sessions, college and career tours, and fun social activities. - Business Case Competition & Scholarship Opportunities
A competitive 9-week business skills program where students learn to understand, analyze and address business challenges in a team-driven learning environment and compete for up to $30K in scholarship funds. - HBCU Career Crash Course Webinar Series
Exposes high school students to early stage professional development as they prepare to transition to college. - Invitation to local Chapter events
Networking opportunities, mentorship, skill development and college/career preparation
UNDERGRADUATE
Students currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, pursuing an associate or bachelor’s degree.

Membership Spotlights
The National Black MBA Association is a membership organization celebrating 50 years of service to our community.
Dr. Ayanna Cummings is passionate about eradicating the malignant diseases of racism, sexism, heterosexism, ageism, ableism, and other ills which plague our society. She has over 21 years of experience as a diversity consultant, specialist, and trainer. In her current role as Director of Diversity + Inclusion with Compass Group at Microsoft, Ayanna serves as a change agent for cultural transformation.
